This one felt like a transitional episode, but with some great moments - like the Littlefinger reveal. I wish they had built up the scene a bit more, since it's related to such an important moment of the show, but it just shows you how in GoT anything can happen and be revealed at the least predictable times.
I feel like they're dragging Dany's storyline too much.
And man, we were so close to have a Stark reunion.

You can't complain about the TV characters not having a character arc and also complain about alterations like these.
The Jon Snow crying scene was easily one of the most emotional moments of the entire series so far.

8th season is already doubtful because all actors would need new contracts So probably 7 seasons and that's it
well i knoww that.. thats why i am wishing that maybe if these ratings keep spiking like this they will be willing to renew the contracts and give us another season.

they have already held off the revelation long enough, i dont think they would hold it off another season they can reveal just so much as is revealed in that last chapter of ASOS, and hold the details off till S05.

He can and did. What little time they did give to Cat was spent on grieving about things she would never grieve about rather than actual substantial things, like her thinking that nearly ALL of her family was dead.
Any positive aspects Cat had are due solely to Michelle Fairley being an absolutely wonderful actress. Same with Cersei and Lena, for the most part (although that Tommen scene in the Blackwater episode remains top notch). Casting is one thing that GoT is nearly perfect at.

So probably 7 seasons and that's it
