I think it's kind of swinging back and forth between her older self and the fame. The scenes on the beach vs the scenes in the car. Idk, at least it seems to me, but the fire scene is not good besides that we all know she loves it tacky, it's a biT, well you know...
Ok I have seen it, I love it, it's nothing alike any video from the BTD era, well maybe BJ, but that's just because it's black and white, either way, I agree, she totally wanted to let go her BTD image and create a new one for this era.
The fire scene.. well it was cool and she was beautiful, but I would have done without the fire.
I ****ing loved the rest of it, especially the scenes she's in the car.
Overrall it was an okay video, I admit I expected better but I'm happy either way, the song still slays.
Beautiful !
It has this very relaxed vibe, I loved the color scenes.
She obv. made this video so simple on purpose, didn't she say that her label wanted everything to be bigger for this album and she said 'no, it needs to be more personal'?
She def. succeeded !
They really wanted it to be simple. Love the vibe and how it's relaxed it feels like an indie film. This is so far from her BTD videography, she really wants a NEW era.
But tbh... it's actually messy. The fire scene and how the whole video is a bit pointless if you compare it from her old videos.
OMG LDRO just tweeted Vevo removed it because they uploaded the wrong version. What kind of MESS

There's something really tragic about it that provokes so many emotions in me, especially when the fire bit starts. To those hating on her use of old guys, stop. It's twisted and it's Lana.
I guess people are just expecting more. Given that it's Lana.
