The design of the dress is nice. Anyone can appreciate the art of the dress, it's just not a
perfect compliment to Beyoncé. That combined with the over-styling (the face lace,
the dark lipstick, the gaudy costume jewelry earrings), it's just all too much.
I know this was made custom for her, but this looks like Oscar de la Renta took this straight from his vintage collection. Fits the theme so perfectly, just wish the front was a bit more structured.
You have to remember some of the designers don't make dresses anything like that. You have to just make it your own. I hope you didn't expect every girl to be wearing full skirt cream and black gowns.
