All my 10s droopped like flies the Girls have good jams but the overratedness on ATRL is too much.
Pure Shores, Push The Button, Biology and Sound of The Underground should be the only ones worthy to win this amongst the survivors but I fear a Girls track will make it, hopefully not Wannabe.
Their biggest ballad, and biggest GLOBAL HIT, Never Ever becomes our first loss as we enter the top ten. This was "one of the most moving songs for" Superiore, who deemed it "sublime." lovesong called it "one of the best ballads of the bunch ...so pleasing and relaxing the whole way through." BlueTimberwolf didn't "get the hype for this. It's really boring, and should have gone to stronger vocalists." Snap!
BlueTimberwolf calls Spice Up Your Life "fun," but asserts "they could have done more with this." I agree! Maybe I was spoiled, but I missed the different vocal parts for all the ladies - that's what set them apart from every other 90s girl group! Maybe it's just as us, as supaspaz takes up for his ladies: "It’s not just the nostalgia talking: This still sounds pretty fresh, even ahead of its time, if what you’re looking for is a nearly tuneless alien battle cry beamed in from another planet."
