A tour is here to support an album. It's supposed to be a place where you can dance, free yourself and enjoy the music. That's exactly what the artRAVE is about. You go there and you spend the night having fun. It's a big party. So no, she did not forget it's a tour. It's exactly what a tour should be.

the opening was really boring.
overall there are no surprises or anything spectacular to get excited about.
i was really open minded by watching the videos but her constant screaming at the audience 'now dance' 'get up' 'clap your hands' etc was a really turn off for me.
glad to see miley in about three weeks to really rave and party.

Concerts don't have to be shocking or full of surprises...
You should go to the concert expecting to have fun, not to be shocked or surprised.

You are forgetting that she usually changes her set-list and costumes after the first few shows.
No... she doesn't? Her set lists don't change until near the end when she has new music, and her costumes don't change with the exception of maybe one.

Yes, I'm sure you, a known Gaga hater and Madonna fan, were "open-minded" while watching Gaga. Gaga interacting with the crowd is something she's known for, and the audience loves it.
Shows aren't always about being "shocking", and nowadays artists like Miley need to "shock" because that's the only way they can entertain people. This show is all about Gaga and her dancers and they're the ones doing the entertaining all the way through. They're even on stage during interludes, which is a time most shows use as a break between sets/acts.
Most of ya'll keep doing the most. Ya'll need to stop living in the past, no the tour has no suprises or shocking stuff, but who cares, it's a concert.
I had a breakdown in this topic too last night, but I'm starting to like the tour now. She can never win with y'all.
Only thing I don't like is the intro (could be more dramatic), some outfits, and the wigs are horrible.
The show looks great. Ugh, I can't get over that she isn't coming to NZ .
After seeing how good this looks, I'm definitely considering going to a show in Australia.

Anyway, the show is amazing! It's funny, she looks gorgeous and the outfits are original.
It's colorful and she needed something like this after BTW (which was darker).
Still can't get over how great is Partynauseous I'm sure other surprises will come
From the few videos ive seen i think its great. I remember btwb was really about the message and the story of G.O.A.T. and it wasnt the same amount of fun as TMB. But i think this one is really living up to its name. It was advertised as a party/rave and the lights, colours, outfits, all dance songs help deliver that rave. It just seems like a party from the moment she comes out to the moment it ends. So excited for it to come to Australia.

Gimmicky... There are no gimmicks on this show, it's 100% Gaga and her dancers entertaining people. No bobble heads, no inflatable tacos, no try-hard "shocking moments", just Gaga doing what she does best: performing.
