Another Grammy winning White Horse nearly went to the unreleased list among which long time stans here can tell you a lot of great songs underrated by Lord herself. Yes, she's "that kind of talented" (as in the lottery advertisement "that kind of rich").

I've heard that story about White Horse, I'm glad it got included in Fearless, I think it might've gotten a bit buried within Speak Now...it's vibe just generally fits better with the first. I like Ronan a lot but personally am not totally wild about Safe & Sound. I think it more than served its purpose though with the movie, though, which is basically the whole point of that type of track.
I think everybody's kind of like in one way or another that nowadays, the new radio-friendly singles take precedence in performances over the older material and the other non-single tracks. Just about the money, unfortunately. Not that killer writing ability and constantly improving vocals (I think the strongest live vocal that I've heard was this year's Grammys...even noticed improvement from seeing her live not terribly long before in May 2013) among other talents aren't still extremely valued
