i wasn't really impressed with the leaks although i liked the singles but the album as a whole is excellent. idk why i ever doubted her even the songs i didn't like are starting to grow on me within the context of the album. lemme pick this up when it comes out.
The fact that you find something so natural disturbing is EXACTLY why she put it there, though. That, and to take a shot at the men who blame a woman's period every time they're justifiably angry. It's blunt, but it's there for a reason. Lily isn't the type to have pointless lyrics, at least.
Insincerely Yours and Take My Place are amazing songs! Actually, the whole album is quite good, better than I expected. Not as amazing as her first two albums, but it's a good job.
If you don't appreciate the lyric about periods, you don't need to be listening to Lily Allen. She's been having those kind of snarky yet poignant lyrics since day 1, so bye.
It's not on the album. Move on.
