In today's modern world we have learnt certain things. For example, some things out of the Bible are clearly outdated...


-homosexuals are not evil

And in the same vein, modern science has shown there's nothing "unclean" about eating pigs. It's outdated.

I agree with your post overall. I don't mind them making decisions to maximise profit, that is simple business, and provokes no reaction in me about any alarming religious change or whatever. But the decision itself seems fishy, logistically.

Where did I EVER state that a Muslim person shouldn't be able to have access to a halal Sub? I NEVER stated that. I actually said I liked the idea of having halal meat at Subway for people with different beliefs. What I did say, however, was that I (and many other people) shouldn't have to change the store because of halal meat. They should find a way to work both meats at the same store. This just shows that you have absolutely no reading and understanding skills whatsoever.

59.28% is Christian.
25.14% is no religion.

The difference is your Christian examples relate to people and discriminating against/punishing them for certain behaviours. This is clearly something we should not tolerate and worked to move past.

Because this muslim "rule" is about something so trivial as diet, it is seen more as "tradition", and will pass through the cracks despite it being illogical. Any suggestion that the diet is stupid is seen as disrespectful and an attack on the people themselves.
