Y'all just ignoring that someone at the label said it's not out til the end of the month? I'm not getting my hopes up. I can 100% see her have all this promo but not put the album out til end of May. She just said she didn't even mix one of the songs yet It can't be ready in a week.

This. Like she'll go on Letterman and whatever, but she will talk about #DemBabies, being a mother, talk little about music, American Idol, renewing her vows with Nick, the usual stuff.

I will be DAMNED if I'm wrong. But I could bet money on this happening.

Basically all her interviews have been the same for the last 2 years. We should be lucky that we're just now out of the Precious era.

Maybe she just booked all these promo slots BEFORE the pushback (if there is one), and she thought even though there won't be an album out at the time to promote, she might as well use the promo slots since they're booked anyway.

This is a possibility I've been trying to ignore. The May 6 date seemed so firm, that it wouldn't shock me if they had already booked up a some promo spots.

Well, if she released digitally first and physically afterwards she could release on May 6. She was probably just perfecting vocals and mixing on Friday; I doubt she still has full songs to record from scratch. If she does- then God help us all, it's gon' take her perfectionist ass forever to finish it.





I can see us not getting the album on May 6 too, but I need something to look forward to. Let's be optimistic.

We don't know how long ago that interview was recorded.

And there's no way she'll sing all old songs at The Today Show. She'd be a fool. I still think "late May" is a marketing scheme.

I'm taking this optimistic approach as well. Hopefully it'll come sooner rather than later.

Yeah, and she didn't really sound like she knew she was being recorded, or at least knew that the audio was going to be published. I hope someone saved it though, because it was kinda cute.
