Because of the exclusivity to its card members. If they allow everyone to buy from their presale then it takes away from their card members.

I hope they dont cancel orders though it will cause a huge backlash.

The pit is VIP only I think. It's about $795.

No there a pit tickets for almost all (but not all) dates without the VIP package, just the pit itself for the top general ticket price (~$250)

There are pit tickets for 250 but that's a small selection that's difficult to get. With a 1,600 ticket, you're certain to find a pit ticket and get all that other extra **** like Beyonce toothpicks and coasters.
