I won't lie and act like all of us have a discussion when Iggy is brought up, but most of us hardly sound like we are "pressed" or "stuck on Iggy's dick" when we talk about her. Iggy herself might be a tired topic, but there are numerous subjects related to her that could apply to Nicki and they are very interesting to talk about.

This is why I need the first single to be a crossover smash because Nicki really needs that.

I guess it's just strange to me that Iggy's album just got released & the first single is already doing really well whereas it seems like for Nicki it took her a little longer for her singles to be successful. Maybe it's just me. I think Iggy just has a lot of Pop appeal in her image & sound. Either way Nicki doesn't have much to worry about, IMO. She has this locked **** down tight & knows what she's doing, so I don't mind if Iggy gets a bit of success.

I like the Iggy discussion. Lets keep it up.

If you look it at from a different perspective, Nicki and Iggy too the same route with first singles. Massive Attack tanked and so did Work and then they both tracks that featured both rapping and singing, except Nicki's was an accident and Iggy's was planned.

I think it is really cool that the three most successful female rappers this decade (2010s) so far, Nicki, Iggy, and M.I.A., are so different and similar at the same time. They all have very different styles and talk about different things yet they all have that pop edge to them that can really pull in people.

And they all have different groups of people behind them, supporting them, and constantly showing them love regardless of their level of success. It's pretty beautiful tbh.
