Anyways, ATRL as usual overreacts when a song doesn't fly up the charts right away. It's the fourth single so it's gonna need time to climb up the Hot 100 especially since the album is already out and PRISM has already sold more than Teenage Dream did at this time anyway.

Birthday will do fine. The music video was so weird but so original and entertaining haha.

Because of the tour break, It's apparent they're putting the 5th single out in June, y'all, not shooting another vid for Birthday. For both TD and Prism it was apparent that they wanted to release another single every other month, but some of the songs smashed on for longer and broke the cycle. If Birthday is a moderate hit, June will contain the 5th single. If Birthday smashes like DH, they may have to wait for the fall, and then LL is basically confirmed to come after.

Birthday is an important single.
It can change the whole direction of the era, just like the rest of the singles could.

It's not that bad, dear. Roar - Uncle was an every-other-month schedule. So was Cali Gurls - TD. LL will get released in August for the VMAs. (The VMAs are in August, not July )

The only problem with them planning out the singles every other month is that some great tracks that were planned will never get released because another song from the album could be slaying during their time of the year.

Hopefully TIHWD is single #5 in June. WoA is nice and everything... But, TIHWD would smash harder and would be more appropriate during the summer.
