Pepcé was just crowned world's most influential person and her new single and video were plastered alongside it all over the world. That's more promo than any of the girls have had in years. The Hive will have to find another excuse.
As far as I know the single wasn't mentioned at all in the news here in south america when TV programs talked about TIME 100. If that maybe happened in your country that's not reason enough to generalize. Try again tho.
Although this is tricky because USA/Japan can be disputed.
Either way, these three girls have ruled the mother country which doesn't let viral hits (excluding the legitimate Billboard smash 'Dope') go top ten since 2009 (i.e. when music began) anyway so it's all okay!
