Beyonce bleaches her skin because she realizes that dark-skin doesn't sell well, isn't considered beautiful, is automatically associated with ghetto/R&B, etc.
It’s tempting to root for anyone who dares to sing sad ballads in a culture obsessed with all things peppy and perky. The problem is, Del Rey hasn’t got any better since SNL. She’s a singer of limited range and charm, with almost no stage presence.
Del Rey might have been easier to listen to if she were more fun to watch. Walking slowly across the stage, fidgeting with her dress and her hair, she seemed painfully unsure of herself, like a shy kid forced into the spotlight during a grade school play.
By default, she spent a large chunk of the show signing autographs and taking pictures with her beaming fans next to the stage barrier. It was an obvious ploy to kill time in a concert that clocked in at less than 75 minutes -- but then again, there was no need to stay onstage any longer. This was clearly one show that didn’t merit an encore.
It's only cool/edgy to be white & liking Beyonce, if you're black & stan for her you're STILL seen as ghetto/uneducated just like it was from 2003 to 2012.

Beyonce stans acting so pretentious, elite, & 'artistically credible!' ever since the release of APE. No matter how many 'stylish!' gif avis you wear on ATRL or if you change your font to 'Impact', you're still the same stans that are associated with weaves, illiteracy, Compton, food stamp insults, etc.
lol @ you putting Madonna in your sig to whiten yourself up. Sorry, but a Rihanna + Beyonce combo knocks your class down to a 0. You probably have 'BOO', 'gurl no', 'SLAY', & 'WERK' in your common speaking vocabulary.
