No, those songs were definitely not written for her, a team of writers were not hired to write those songs for her a la Rihanna's career. And who said Beyonce has a song where she is the only writer credited? Does Rihanna? Lol you're reaching for anything at this point and it's kinda sad....

But like I said, at the end of the day, Beyonce's involvement in her music does not take away the fact that Rihanna has VERY LITTLE involvement in the creation of her music and is not a true songwriter. Beyonce has nothing to do with Rihanna so I'm not gonna dispute with you about Beyonce's music making or songwriting abilities...make a thread about it and we can go there, but try focusing on your own fave for once instead of TRYING to drag other popstars down to Rihanna's level

Yep, a lot of times. Get Me Bodied would be a great example of that. Or sometimes she'll get a song, like I Care and she'll do the vocal production and write or re-write entire (background) melodies for it that weren't originally part of the song.

Yeah, Survivor (lyrics) were written solely by her.
I wish she still did most of her writing, but I guess it would be pretty difficult for her now. She has a very busy schedule.

That another reason why pop stars like Rihanna don't really get to work on their craft. They're pretty busy working on their brand and when she's not working on some fashion line or make up line, she'd probably rather go on vacation than learn about Phrygian scales. She's more of a singer anyway.

Beyoncé does. She's the sole writer on "Dangerously in Love." Errol McCalla has production credit. This was also confirmed by her ex-man.

Rihanna writing credits are the shadiest things ever. From the fact that Unapologetic had her on 0 songs in the booklet then all of sudden she appeared via website. I mean it could be missprtint but in all songs?The album wasn't TTT sized rushed mess either.

The we all know she wrote nothing on Loud right? Right? Then check ASCAP database she apeared as writer of Cheers over a year later. Same with CKB and Man Down. All were suprisingly singles that would bring royalties from radio airplay. If this doesn't smell buying writing credits then I don't know what is

There's getting writing credits for being involved in the process, and then there's being a songwriter.

The latter is someone who writes songs. The implication being that they do so frequently, and can do it solo.
