People saying 'if we ban guns, criminals will still get them'
Well, as a Brit living in a country where there's a ban on handguns in private ownership, I can tell you that it is impossible to get one, and that shows in our proud statistic of fewer than
1 death per week as a result of a gun. And that rate is falling Thank God.
Fewer guns = fewer gun deaths. That's just logic.
And I read the other day that for every man, woman and CHILD in the United States (315 million!) there are
15 guns. That's over
5 BILLION guns within American borders. Like seriously.
Oh, and I was born in Georgia as well.
(thankfully to British parents who soon went back home
