Furler wrote this self-help ballad — “It’s the soul that needs the surgery,” goes one line — at her small apartment in the Angelino Heights neighborhood of Los Angeles. She cut the song with Ammo, a songwriter and producer, on the same day she sang on David Guetta’s “Titanium.” Furler emailed the song to her friend Katy Perry, but Perry didn’t see the email. So Furler passed the song along to Rihanna’s manager, who held it for eight months, but ultimately did not pay the fee to secure the track. “When Beyoncé heard it, she slid into home base and just closed the deal,” Furler says. Last summer, Dr. Luke, one of Perry’s producers, got hold of the Beyoncé version and played it for Perry. She loved it. She texted Furler: “I’m pretty hurt you never sent me this song.” Furler responded: “Check your email.” Still sounding disappointed, Perry says, “It was meant to be with Beyoncé, of course.
Yes, all those times she was interacting with the audience was clearly planned before hand and looks like it took hours to practice those "heys" so that no one would catch her relying on the back-track
"I stan for Beyoncé because... well, that's a good question. Why should I stan for Beyoncé? Has she done anything special? Is her music revolutionary?" -your sig

Just because she was interacting with the crowd it doesn't mean she wasn't lip syncing
Maybe Bey should get a vocal double because the screeching and voice cracks in Pretty Hurts are not cute
After subjecting yourself to the utter trash that is Britney's discography for so many years I could see how you would think Beyonce's vocals, out of all popstars, need improvement
PH is easily one of the worst songs of 2013. It's one of the reason I'm too lazy to play that whole album because I know I have to listen to that crap first.
