Absolutely amazing. Visually just... like, every shot was perfect. Yet another brilliant film that you stanned for first!
My only complaint is that some of the deliberately long shots could've continued just a bit longer (like the opening credits did). Really effective at making the audience squirm.
Hope more people from here check it out (although you and I both know, a lot of SYG wouldn't get it at all). The cinephiles in here should definitely see it.

You wanted those long shots to be even longer
The opening was great. All those weird shapes that look so creepy and extraterrestrial...and then it turns out it's just a human eye. All those weird noises that sound so creepy and extraterrestrial..and then it turns out it's her practicing how to sound out human words. Kind of what the movie is about -- starts off creepy and alien and then becomes human.
But the best moment was when we see what happens to those guys she traps. It's scary because it's the total unknown. You're not expecting a ghost or a vampire or a killer to pop out. You have no idea
what to expect.
But I only stanned for it first b/c of Scarlett
I associate it with a certain boy...
