They should really just release Overdose on iTunes and donate proceeds to relief/charity. No way this comeback is going to be successful, since it got cut short at its most critical point. (Especially seeing as the Chinese campaign is still on schedule.) Just scrap it and start work on the invitable repackage that was gonna happen in the second half, maybe even hold onto the mini and turn it into a full album.

The article says some acts who were planning a comeback in May are thinking of releasing in July

because

1. There were already lots of acts who had April/May planned (esp with big fanbases)
2. It'd take at least 2~3 weeks for the music industry to normalize
3. World Cup in June will take all the hype
~ so might as well release in July kinda logic.

EXO and at least all the big names will be fine.

It's a fairly large ship so not surprised, it's not your typical ferry.

Yep! I've been following the updates and apparently the captain told the students to stay on the 3rd and 4th floor of the ferry (which are now completely filled with water). Weather isn't helping either so they had to push back some of their rescue efforts these past days, but right now from what I've read so far, the weather is in their favor so that's good. Plus, visibility is poor underwater according to the divers. The parents are also going crazy, they tried to march towards the Blue House(?) (Korea's version of White House) and protest but they were blocked by police officials. I can't blame them. Samsung's CEO, I think, has donated a crane to pull the ship back up, but they need the parents' permission first as they will have to tilt the ship to pull it back up. They're not doing it because they're still hoping for survivors, through air pockets. However, I think its highly unlikely now as hypothermia would have killed them because of the waters' extreme temperature.

They're also pumping air apparently. Not sure how that works but.. "Air being pumped into the hull is done by connecting a hose to a compressor and injecting it into the ship. This is simulated to have an effect on the rising the ship slightly."

About the captain: Investigation headquarters claim the captain was not steering the boat at the time of the accident. It is being reported that the 3rd Officer was in control of the ship at the time of the incident. The 3rd Officer in question is a 25 year old female who has only 1 year of experience. The captain may not have been on the bridge.

I think at this point, all the divers are going to see are dead bodies. Its been way too long. Death toll is rising quickly.

Omg. I facepalmed and then put my hands up to each side of my face in disbelief reading that the captain told the people HE LEFT, to go to the BOTTOM quarters of a SINKING ship. WHAT THE ****? LIKE SERIOUSLY, WHAT THE ****?!?

I know it's big, but no shade to Korea, I feel like this should have been handled much quicker. What on Earth? Why aren't they using the crane!? Who's permission are they waiting on! Air pockets for four days? C'MON! This gets more and more outrageous

That is awful from start to finish. Wow. There's legitimately not one grain of hope. How did the actual survivors get off the ship though, they were on the upper deck or something?
