That post is, without a doubt, flamebait. You intentionally said something negative about Katy in response to a calm, nonthreatening post. All Ben said was that the thread should be made again in five years when Katy and Gaga were eligible. Instead of ignoring the post or responding in an appropriate manner, you attacked his fave and, in a sense, called Katy Perry talentless.
That's trying to upset her fan,
that's attempting to start a fight,
that's flamebait.
