Christina just did a concert a few weeks ago and is doing another one in a few weeks. So there will be a chance to mention P!nk. But trust, P!nk will be absolutely the last thing Christina will think of

You never know though. If her voice does something typically P!nk, like hit the notes or stay on key, she may remark

And I've never that quote from Linda about Stripped either. If anything Linda probably meant Christina also wanted to make a personal album (which she wanted before M!). Not that Christina literally wanted that.

But it's true, Linda did say that in an interview that there would be no P!nk without Get The Party Started. I don't see why that has you so bothered though lol. Seems contradictory that you want everyone to give P!nk credit for things she hasn't done but don't want to give Linda any credit

There is absolutely nothing iconic about it. Beautiful is well known but no one knows the album it is from. It was overshadowed and outsold by a lot of other albums too (Let Go, DIL)

I totally agree about the personal album. Maybe it's Linda who compared the two albums. Maybe she's the reason why there's so much bickering.

I'm not bothered by anything that Linda Perry has to say. The timeline speaks for itself. P!nk sought Linda out and they made a hit album. Others flocked to Linda due to her resurrected profile.

If you could link me to videos or a typed interview where Linda said those things, I would be grateful. All the more reason to dislike the woman

Like I said before, I'm sure when artists work with Linda Perry they listen to previous material she has made, as any artist would when they are propositioned to work with a new producer for the first time.

But it was Linda who approached Christina to work with her. And she was the one who approached Gwen Stefani too. Gwen didn't even want to work with Linda at first lol. Linda actually kind of choked Gwen into working with her! LOL

I don't know about Alicia Keys or Britney Spears or the other people Linda has worked with. But those two did not flock, they were approached by Linda herself.
