LOL no. There was a P!nk before GTPS. A successful one at that. And in 12 years of following P!nk, I've never heard that quote. There would be no Linda Perry without Get The Party Started and P!nk's initiative.
And I know what she did in 2000. I don't take any of it seriously. It's just funny how it all played out. You have to admit that the drama from that time is iconic, if nothing else.
All these years later and it's still talked about all the time
and "it was inspired by missunderstood" 
Linda Purry did say that Christina said "I want to make an album like M!ssundaztood". I'm not taking that to mean a total copy but it did mark the same kind of career change that M!ss did.
Not at all... Stripped outdoes anything P!nk will ever do and it will stay that way.
