Between the end of the 4 era and the start of the Beyonce era, Beyonce has done so many things to make the public still interested in her. She did the Super Bowl, the tour, documentary, an anitmated film, making appearances on other artists' work and she's always involved in a story in the media, whether it's about her, Jay-Z, Blue Ivy, Solange, Tina or Matthew. Nicki has only done HALF the stuff Beyonce did to make herself relevant between the end of the PF:RR era to the start of TPP era. But that's just my perspective...

What if Young Money releases the first single from Tha Carter V on May 5th and Nicki's featured on it? She did hint on Instagram a song with Drake, herself and Wayne and Young Money is really hyping his album because it's his last.

i was simply talking about being patient for new music. I'm not worried about how the long break will effect sales.

That was the point of my post. I could wait so much longer for the new album from Nicki simply because Beyonce has taught me how to be soooooo patient in this aspect of things. Nicki makes it much, much, much easier due to the features. Not to mention that usually when Nicki trolls, something comes soon after. When Beyonce trolled, we would still go without things for MONTHS.

I think that would defeat the purpose for the mixtape and most artists who release mixtapes before their albums use it as a promo tool. I don't see her wasting that generated interest from the mixtape just to start all over again.

Well usually it means how much input each person has put into the song's writing. TNC's credits isn't done alphabetically, so like on Work Iggy is credited first, but she's credited 4th on Black Widow.

Dunno why anybody would care. Most rappers have help, its just Iggy credited them where as Nicki probably wouldn't.

Funny you said this... I just got my copy today and the signed booklet (as well as the booklet that came within the sealed CD case) both have Iggy listed as the main writer for all of the tracks with the exception of Black Widow on which she is still a co-writer.

Some credible source you are. No better than that Wikipedia page w/ those made-up credits.
