The fact remains that none of the people on here seem to understand is that Beyoncé does not make pop music. She did pop music ONE era (IASF) and it granted her hits. Logically assuming, if Beyoncé wanted to make pop music, she could make it. But no, she stays true to herself and continues to make music that's neither trendy at the moment nor POPular.
Therefore it's natural to assume that it's harder for her to get billboard hot #1 hits every time she puts out a damn single because her songs are not tailored that way.
Even with that she still managed to get #2 single this era which is saying a lot. It's not about whether you're having a successful or a flopping single. It's about how she's regarded as one of the best performers in the world, has an amazing voice and killer dance moves, both which accompany the title.
Sorry I didn't include the Destiny Child's tour gross because the figures are too paleozoic to find
