That is basically what many black people are saying when they say institutionalized racism. The responses to Pharrell's post proves just that...people saying "so are you going to blame OURSELVES [black people] for our problems?" And then people mention institutionalized racism...meaning white people (the ones in power, according to those who claim i.r.), meaning white people are to blame for their problems.

Because most Africans only are coming here WITH money. They aren't coming here broke. A better comparison would be the mexicans illegally crossing the border. The Africans who come over hear are usually= to Europeans coming over here. Thus, already middle class when their plane lands.
