The Superbowl was almost a year prior so why would that carry hype into her album release?

We didn't even know for sure SOTS, and Grown Woman would be on the album....

are we going to disregard she launched a Tour after the Super Bowl and released those demos ?
Not to mention she didn't disappear from the news , bc of the promo I mentioned and also her own display of her personal life.
It all was made to hype up her image and a future album release.

And Birthday hasn't been sent to radio nor has it been performed, so until it is we're only three in.

I just finished watching the film and, I must say, I am none too pleased.

I can definitely see why the film was polarizing. I'm definitely on the negative side of public opinion, granted I wasn't expecting much to begin with. "Blade Runner" moved way too slowly. It took 55 minutes, 55 minutes, for a single event to happen. Truly torturous. It was bringing back memories of watching Terrence Malick's "The Tree of Life." I only have two positive comments on "Blade Runner." 1. The set design was beautiful. Some of the shots in the film were vibrant and absolutely striking.

And 2. Roy Batty's monologue was the only great, emotionally impactful piece of writing in the entire film.

"I've... seen things you people wouldn't believe. [contemptuous laugh] Attack ships on fire off
the shoulder of Orion. I watched c-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhäuser Gate.
All those... moments... will be lost in time, like [small cough] tears... in rain."

I understand human emotions, and although I do not feel them myself, even that scene triggered something for me.



Unfortunately, sitting through "Blade Runner," a nearly two-hour film, for
those two positives is most definitely not worth. Wait for the remake, kids.

Aside from the visuals I don't care for the movie either. But it's more legendary than anything any of ATRL's faves will ever do.
