It's not subjective when critics and fans alike agreed that Artpop fell short of expectations. When you're recycling the same generic concept that's existed in mainstream music for years and its finally, might I add, falling out of style, she needed to make something outstandingly different. I'm not a Gaga hater, I actually enjoy her music but this album fell entirely short of what she claimed it to be, even Born This Way was miles better than Artpop

It's is subjective. Even if millions of people agree w u then it's millions of SUBJECTIVE opinions. It can't be proven as a fact. And don't speak for all her fans because IAM a Gaga fan and genuinely enjoy her latest work and half of the songs have her best work. And out of style whatever, is what she wanted to do. Even though her music was not recycled like u claim or whatever. Cute u like her old work. It's always the haters or the people who are hostile that start praising her past work once her newest material comes out. Ppl were bashing btw and now it's axing. The same will happen to ARTPOP just to discredit her latest work.

If it wasn't for the tour I'd say **** act 2 but she NEEDS new material to keep people slightly interested. If she stays away for too long again, people will claim that she's irrelevant and it'll hurt her in between ARTPOP and the next era.

If her team is smart, they'll just make this an EP for a fall release and sell it by itself (with no ARTPOP in the title) for really cheap and in a package with the first act (the Fame/Monster strategy all over again) to boost those abysmal ARTPOP sales. Release two smash singles, then reinvent herself and move on to a brand new album with a brand new concept/style/sound late next year.

You're still wrong, I STILL DONT LIKE BORN THIS WAY, but I can give credit to her amazing writing and production regardless of how much I didn't like it. ARTPOP will forever in my opinion be her worst album, if she tops it off with Vol II so ****ing be it.
The music is recycled, the song structures to the beats are similar to her last albums nothing is evolving as much as you'd like to think.

g.u.y's, she didn't exactly clarify when she'll release the second act, she said "within" a next year, it may mean today, it may mean tomorrow, in one week, in a month, in 2 months, in 4 months, she may release it while on tour just like bey. she may not care about commercial success anymore, but her fans are what mostly made her succeed in this industry along with her artistic, musical expression and diversity, so if she cares about us and love us and want us to love her back, the little monsters, then she must satisfy our musical and visual thirst, that means she really must release it this goddamn vol soon (and not her type of "soon).
