Britney's peak would be better if the streaming rule applied. Also, there was no promo and the song had already been released in 2 different Britney albums, so not even the fans cared.
the song didnt go top 300 after a televised performance. ive never seen that before.
Plenty, most recent example is Pharrell - Marilyn Monroe which peaked around #700 on iTunes after being performed on Ellen, a show with a much bigger young audience.

While I love you lost me, people not knowing about it doesn't justify it being a bigger flop
Success and failure depend on the circumstances. 'YLM' was not radio friendly, not promoted at the right time and not supported by a good video or by a streaming rule. Therefore, its obvious failure is much less embarassing given the circumstances, so I don't think it "flopped as hard as G.U.Y." like the title of the thread says.
