Lee Brice and Eric Church are what's wrong with country music. "Hard to Love" and "Springsteen" are the reason people keep moving away from country music. You just pushed a button for me because I hate both of them. You could've thrown in Miranda Lambert, Blake Shelton and the Zac Brown Band and you would've hit all of my least favorite artists of this decade's country music

If were talking about industry, yes, in fact, Luke Bryan is leading the country music industry (for males anyway) and that is proven by his recent strong years of sales

If were talking about music (like notes on a page)...Luke Bryan's music is somewhat the direction (for male country artists anyway) the direction its going. There are still plenty of other Country Artists stopping the male country music industry (the hugely successful ones anyway) from going too generic.

Dierks went from "Come a Little Closer Baby" to "5-1-5-0" (which rivals "Chicken Fry" for most annoying country single to be overplayed on radio). I don't get how you can bash Luke's bro-country and then praise Dierks who's been doing it for years, i.e. "What Was I Thinkin'." I will give you that he's cute and I love him
