gaga dad serving terrible food at his restaurant what a flop guess it runs in the family

Went in for wine and pizza over the weekend. The wine was ok but terribly overpriced but the pizza tasted worse than Elio's. The food is the absolute worst!

The WORST Italian food I have ever had in my LIFE. I actually had to get up and get some air because the lasagna made me nauseous.

The place is a garden floor of a charming brownstone, very romantic and the service is wonderful- hostess, waiter, everyone. But the food was atrocious. Seriously.

This is what we ordered:
Appetizers:
Risotto stuffed in sweet peppers- The dish looked pretty but had no taste. They forgot to add parmesan to the risotto. And the broth they cooked it in was obviously too bland.
Chopped Salad- Dish was okay. It was our second choice but the waiter told us not to order the grilled calamari.

Mains:
Spaghetti & Meatballs- The meatballs were bricks of dry tough meatloaf
Lasagna- The tomato sauce was tart and the meat was dry

We left hungry and on the way home debated going to Lenny's for a sandwich. I can't believe we dropped $115 on THAT.

I PLEAD to the owners, please get a new chef, new recipes.
