I haven't seen this from Gaga, Beyonce, or Katy stans. I've seen it from Rihanna stans, but in their defense Rihanna does have a wider appeal.

I do think Gaga fans used to think they're above basic music, but they have their reasons in 2011. Most Lana fans are former Gaga fans because she gives them greater incentives to be more "artistic" like.
