2 years ago I hated Taylor Swift and thought she was untalented and annoying. But fast forward to today, and I've seen the light.
It all started from me hearing "Mine" on the radio at work, and I thought "wow this is actually good" So I downloaded it, and I wanted to get more into her because I was obsessed with that song, so I bought You Belong With Me, and Everything Has Changed, and I became obsessed. So today I bought every single album of hers on iTunes. I've seen the light.

"At the Bleachers show in Williamsburg in March, Dunham watched from the rafters with Taylor Swift, with whom Antonoff wrote the Golden Globes-nominated song “Sweeter Than Fiction.” Antonoff is a hardcore Swiftie, and he talks about her with the protectiveness and pride of an older brother. “We live in a fascinating time where there’s a weird shift in pop, and certain pop stars aren’t really resonating in the way they were,” he says. “The reason why Taylor stands above everyone else is because she’s a songwriter. She sits in rooms and she writes songs. Most importantly, they sound like her. All the other pop stars, to put it in a really simple way, they’re just not as talented.” Swift’s ability to craft her own material is what sets her apart, he believes. “Other pop stars have to go through, like, a goth phase. You can imagine the marketing meetings behind other pop stars. Whereas the meeting behind Taylor is like, ‘Write a great ****ing album,’ which she can.”"

I actually enjoy country and it's sister genres like folk (Woody Guthrie, Patsy Cline, Linda Rondstadt, Dolly Parton, Johnny Cash, Shania Twain, Carrie Underwood).
But i'm listening to RED right now. Just listened ot Holy Ground and it was a nice song. Playing The Last Time right now and it's so good.

I never listened to all the songs from Red outside of Everything Has Changed, Red, IKYWT, and WANEGBT. So I'm gonna listen to them today.

Glad to hear
It gets mixed reviews in this base, which I don't get. The second half of the song is killer.

Maybe because the melody isn't as elaborate as her other songs, but that's probably why I love it. It's very simple and melancholy. Love the orchestral elements but it would probably work even better if it was stripped down.
