I was such a big fan even before Born to Die was released. And I played that album as a whole atleast 100 times. Now if this is a hint of what UV will sound.... Where are her melodies?
Let me just say
"Hot summer nights, mid-July, when you and I were forever wild" > the entity that West coast is.
This is song is gorgeous. Those drums at the beginning>>> and that spanish line I CAN'T GET OVER IT. Bye at people dissing this becauae it's not hip hop BTD style this is so much better and sounds more genuine from her I am so happy. Also let's talk about what a marriage of styles this and that tempo shift
I also got a strange feeling when I first heard it, but those who feel disappointed or smth just need to listen again. I'm on my 10th listen and being slayed more and more each time. Just don't call it disappointing if you just heard it once and didn't even try to get into it.
So far Lana for me doesn't have a better song than another they're all good they're like a piece of a puzzle that will be completed once Ultraviolence will be released…
IKR? we are not ready for Ultraciolence, she will slay the **** out of us!

Don't worry, I'm sure the album will have some gems for you. Her lead singles are not her best imo.
It's true, the BTD-era is really good and epic, but like somebody said, it's time to move on with that era. It's over and West Coast is the proof of it.
This song is something really new and probably this new era will be so different from the BTD-era. It's time for new things.
