Possibly. Genie really doesn't have a musical identity; she's like Rihanna who's a musical chameleon and are pretty great at any genre. Trouble is, Rihanna knows what the public wants and gives it to them. Genie is still unable to adapt to the new times, and her dumbass team aren't helping.
What she needs to do is actually work with a single producer, writer and have a clear direction/vision for her EP. Alternative R&B would be a great fit for her or something that channels The Black Keys. Just something out of the box that's different to her pop material because that's not working out, and provide something fresh that will reinvent her.
SS is a good start though.
She needs to give her next era a coherent image and follow it through for all her songs and videos.
That's why Back To Basics and Dirrty were successful.
Osbourne also made an appearance on The Jonathan Ross Show, during which Ross made negative comments on Osbourne's weight. The comments eventually caused Osbourne to have a nervous breakdown in June 2005, which sent her to rehab. This stopped any further promotion for the album, and all future single releases were canceled.
Pretty Hurts won't work as a single. It is being played as a soundtrack in a brazilian novela (the one with most audience) and apparently not doing so well.
