Madonna only needs one good single that will smash (outside US obv) and she will easily outsell MDNA. I still can't believe she released GAYL and performed it on SB, like her worst song ever.
I'm having good hopes with Avicii. He's gotten good radio play for himself with 'True' so I'm hoping a decent song and promotion will get her into the good graces of the gp again. MDNA was a rough one.
The music on ARTPOP is fine and the album has alot of good songs that would entertain the GP, not scare - like BTW did, if promoted the way it should be promoted. Applause's performance was the best confirmation that the gp will be here for her, but after the single died, we all know what happened.
The absolute and complete mess started with Alejandro and its video, then BTW was released along with Judas. The fans loved her even more, the GP was definitely scared off, incl me. That's the way it is, there's no running away from it. She just has to move on from being a LGBT exclusive and from making videos like Alejandro and BTW, IF she wants to be on top again. If not, then it's fine, really. Although, ARTPOP is an indicator that she and her team understood few things and this album is definitely a step into the right direction. Especially the G.U.Y. video showed us she's aware what is going on and it's exactly a great example of how she should work towards being appreaciated by the GP again.
