Obviously can't speak for everyone in the UK but it does happen a lot. I can see her being a Tulisa and that would be a nightmare. The publicity and absolute hate bandwagon surrounding her X Factor appearance killed her short-lived career.

Tulisa is different because she was already in N-Dubz, notorious for making "chavvy" wannabe gangster music (they had some bops though, nearly saw them live in 2009) and the frontman Dappy is a ****ing moron who did a lot of **** to give the media ammunition, like send a woman death threats after she said she wasn't a fan of their music.

But yeah Tulisa already had a bad label attached to her, so her appearing on X Factor as a young girl who was highly opinionated and rough around the edges rubbed a lot of 40 year old women up the wrong way. Then her "sex tape" leaked conveniently before her first solo single which was about forgiving people of their mistakes because they're young.

So the media had enough stuff to portray her as Satan and they dragged her unfairly for months. Then there was the drugs scandal involving her... poor girl.

Disclaimer: I think she's unbearable and a really annoying woman but the hate she received from the press was still out of order.

And her album had a song called British Swag on it so she did deserve to flop.

My date got postponed because the original date clashed with Children In Need but I never bothered seeing them after because my friends were away on the new date.

Despite them being kinda gross as people Tulisa has an amazing voice, Dappy can rap and the other one... well 2 out of 3 is good enough. So I'm still sad I never got to experience them. Strong Again was the song.

But yeah I'm sure Kesha would be fine in comparison to that mess.

But I don't see how Kesha could be subjected to any of that as she's doing doing positive things as of late. But you never know, they'd probably be quick to write "Pee-drinking American party animal Kee$ha new Tulisa on X Factor"

Yes this is why I was so worried.

The papers would literally be labelling her the "new Tulisa" from the get go and digging up any 2006 tea they can find on her that the GP would not know. They do that about the contestants after their first audition as it is. It's actually so tragic.
