I'm rooting for it.
I think the GP is going to become more open to solely instrumental tracks. "Animals" has done remarkably well, and "Summer" by Calvin Harris seems to be taking off and it has very minimal lyrics.
I think the key is that the instrumental has to be melodic, something that people can "sing" or hum along to.
People are not tired of it yet
