C'Mon is one of the best on Warrior, Dirty Love slays but I see why you would dislike it, and Gold Trans Am is flawless. VIP slays so whoever doesn't like it (WM I think) can go. Boots & Boys is the worst song on Animal but it's still not bad. Butterscotch is amazing but shouldn't have made Animal, not in the form it is. It needed fresher production. It is one of her best demos though.

Gold Trans Am gave me hope for Warrior when I heard the snippets. I remember being underwhelmed until I got to it.

Luckily the rest grew on me in the end.

I remember GTA being one of the first songs I heard from Warrior. I can't remember if it was the snippets or when the album was leaking, but I was so disappointed with the way the album was turning out to be

I stan hard for Animal as a whole. The whole thing is perfection. These 16 songs are the best 16 songs in her discography.

Warrior was just a mess to me. I'm not here for ROCK$HA in the slightest. And I'm also not here for her attempts bubble gum pop like it just doesn't suit her at all

It's funny, I don't even stan for the "pop rock" girls but something about her "rock" sounding songs are soooooo appealing to me.

Alanis Morissette is my most played artist on last.fm though so maybe Kesha just gets the rock right unlike the other pop/rock girls.

Agreed I find her doing rock so much more appealing then her other work. I think her voice is more suitable for rock, indie and folk music rather than mainstream pop. I was really looking forward to her **** rock album but that didn't happen

Mmmmmhmmm, I agree completely.

But I'm torn with it because at the same time I wouldn't swap the Luke stuff we got, like even Warrior. At this point I feel like I'd continue wanting pop bops from her as well as a more rock sounding thing, but of course that just leads to an album with an identity crisis (a la Warrior) and no one wants that.

But that creates another problem, because I'm starting to think I love Warrior as much as I do because it was such a massive non-cohesive mess. It allowed me to listen to all the parts of her I liked in one album. But yeah I don't know what I want with future stuff anymore.

Animal was much better than Warrior because all the songs actually sounded like they were supposed to go together. The sign of a truely great album Warrior was so rushed. Like she was working up to the last second in MCBL and she barely had enough suitable material
