idg why people downplay Beyonce so much on CHARTrl. You'd think after her stellar success recently people wouldn't come for, and yet they're still flooding SYG trying to make her out to be some Samantha Mumba type success
Shes received her fine share of praise though, people are putting her above certified legends because of her album

This era is slightly more successful than the 4 era. Better album sales, worse single sales.
All of her singles sold little to nothing and the album has left the top 20 of the Billboard 200. She did one tour in support of two different albums to make her numbers look better which still resulted in nearly 100k unsold tickets.

It's not like she is a martyr of musical industry, she is overrated everywhere else.
What you call downplay are simply stating the facts, specially about her single sales....
- Samantha Mumba's Gotta Tell You went Top 10 in the same amount of countries as Drunk in Love
- Gotta Tell You outpeaked DiL in Australia, UK, Ireland, Belgium, Canada, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Spain, Sweden and Switzerland
Poor eBey, even Samantha Mumba is more global than her.
Someone refresh my mathematics. Is being local to one of the richest countries more important than being "global" in places with no money? Let me ponder.
Soyou from SISTAR sold only in Skorea in the last two months about +1.2 million copies of her new song. Kind of the same numbers for Drunk in Love globally...
Side note: I can't get over how much Arabs worship Rhenna (and Steak'nShakeira). She's always the first female they mention when you ask which popstars they love.
