You do know sales don't matter much in Rihanna's world? Especially when Rude Boy was far more global than Applause and Rihanna is more radio driven. Rated R will end up selling at least 1m more than ARTPOP at the end. (which is like 700-800k more considering the decline of the market).

Rated R sold 1/3 of the preceding album like Chartflop. Both are flops (tho ARTPOP ranked better on IFPI).
