This feels amazing to be here since the beginning when everyone shaded her and made fun of her saying she was the lessor and no one would give a $hit about her. Now shes here about to release her album and Fancy becoming a proper smash
The snippets are all so good. Literally every single one. Her lyricism is WAY up, she's been working HARD. I was braced for Work to be her most lyrical song on the album, but she really brought it with a lot of these. I'm so so impressed. Not to mention the INSANE production. Not to mention the catchy hooks. Not to mention the half a dozen potential singles. Oh my god. I wasn't ready. I thought I was, but I wasn't.
Impossible Is Nothing is the only song I didn't ~LOVE~ but it's still okay. Every other song is slaying me though.
This is very reminiscent of the Pink Friday snippets for me, as those were what turned me into a huge Nicki fan.
It's just so fulfilling to see how hard Iggy has worked and how far she's come because of it.
And I LOVE that she stuck to her guns and did what SHE wanted to do (with the labels help, of course). I love that this is an album that she can be proud of. And I especially love that she worked with her friends. TI, Rita, The Invisible Men, Charli... It must be so satisfying for all of them.
I can truly see this being successful. Like, a builder album, something that doesn't sell much first week but then all of a sudden goes platinum after a few singles.
