Bey is actually really relevant in Armenia (not so much musically but still). Most Armenian pop stars copy her music videos. Lilit Hovhannisyan and Sirusho, two of the biggest Armenian pop stars, are quite inspired by her.

My housemate last year was of Turkish descent. She HATED the Kartrashian because they were Armenian.
