The song was kind of annoying but it is another classic record for the queen

“Alicia’s album is incredible. The last time I said something like this, everybody was lookin’ at me crazy and I told them like, ‘Listen, ya’ll don’t know Miley Cyrus.’ And they was like, ‘Nah, she’s Hannah Montana.’ And I was like, ‘OK, you’ll see.’ Alicia’s album is crazy. Harlem is gonna be real proud. New York is gonna be real proud. I’m tellin’ you. She’s getting ready to do something super next level. It supercedes anything that’s out and it’s awesome because it’s a woman and it’s a black woman and there’s just a whole other level of what she’s doing and I was very honored to have her on my album, and we actually worked on some records for her album while she was doing that for me. New York, be very proud because she’s done something next level.”
I didn't realize how much Alicia consistently slayed the 2000's.
She really was the #1 Black Female.
f; I had a crush on her when I was like 5 too. Already stanning for R&B Legends then.
Alicia is really about to make a comeback and honestly not as if she really left.
GOF sold more than ARTPOP, with less of a Holiday season to sell through.
She is kind of already a legend tbh but this is going to solidify her status

The Element of Freedom is so underrated on here.
I mean even the bonus tracks SLAUGHTER discographies
^by the way Alicia wrote and produced that song completely by herself.
She sold more albums because she released more, although Bey really isn't that far behind. Bey has more #1s, more top tens, and Alicia having more "iconic" hits is a lie. Pls learn the definition of iconic. Not to mention Single Ladies being more iconic than any of her songs. And I could be incorrect, but Bey might've been the bigger touring act too. Let's not.
but she was the #1 WW.
She had more WW hits than Bey, Ashanti, and every other "global" black girl.
d; plus she kinda crapped on Bey in U.S.

Alicia started earlier than Bey, and in side by side album comparisons Alicia demolishes her every time except for with BEYONCE vs GOF.
Sorry Single Ladies isn't more iconic that If I Aint Got You, Fallin, No One, or Girl On Fire worldwide!
If anything Beyonce released more singles and was featured on more songs, thats the only reason that Bey is higher than Alicia on the Hot 100 Artists of the 2000's.
Alicias management never released the right songs, or as many singles as they should.
Meanwhile Beyonce released about 9 flop singles from B-Day.
Quantity beat out quality this time unfortunately.
