In any case that's unfortunate but it seems like no matter what she releases there is a polarizing response these days. I mean people on ATRL claim the electronic sound is tired...but then DWUW received these negative scores. The only thing left is a song like Gypsy. But I'm curious about if we're talking uptempo-wise, what does the GP really want from ha then?

Yes, all the metrics matter. Ultimately national callout scores are just a roadmap. Local stations do their own research on top of it. That's why certain songs do well in certain markets. Even if it's bombing nationally. Ie. Local acts. For example, Pitbull gets a lot more airplay in Miami.
But yes anything above 25% negative is danger zone. That means a quarter of your listeners are reacting negatively to the song. If burn is high and positives are low, it's time to retire that one.
Like I said there's no exact science. Ultimately the PD decides and there's a lot of factors. Sales of album, sales of single, concert in town?, etc. but ultimately they gotta satisfy advertisers (bread and butter of a radio station) so songs like DiL and Selfie can't get too much airtime.
