Who's to say that's true? I mean in all these hot or not polls it's been in on radio, it's won hot in every one of them. They may not seem like they mean much but at the end of the day that's the best way we can gauge the general publics initial thoughts on it.

Not really. Rihanna pulled a "G.U.Y" with Pour It Up, by releasing the single and video like months after the album was done, the song flopped.

The only difference here being that Rihanna didn't completely abandon her album 2 months after its release and then have the audacity to come back 3 months later.

If, a song like GUY (with that kinda high budget video) was released right after Stay, she would've gotten another #1 or top #3, without a doubt. I mean even the PIU video was vevo certified 1/2 months after its release and the things they spent money on are her outfits, stippers + poles, a chair and a closed venue

But you do realize that it's entirely Gaga's fault, right ? The PIU video got millions of views because the GP wants to watch everything involving Rihanna, while most of them usually associate Gaga with ugliness and repulsive looks, which is what she had been doing from 2010 (Alejandro) to 2013 (Applause).

Yeah. She looks much happier + inspired. She doesn't perch around twitter and LM.com like a lifeless freak. She gave us her best video (IMO). She has been doing promo (although they are not big promo slots but she is taking advantage of almost every promo slot available now). She has been looking very pretty lately. All is good for me rn
