I don't know why you all are so upset about it. It's no secret that Britney DOES NOT sing live. No one, not even her biggest possible fan could deny this. And don't tell me that her occasional one line live vocals popping in every few songs is proof she sings live.
And before anyone jumps on me, I am a Britney fan and I enjoy her music. But c'mon, why get so upset when artists call her out on her lip synching when it is indeed true?!
If she sang live, "jokes" like these wouldnt even exist. So in the end, its basically her own fault and not his. Singers are supposed to sing live. Back in the day when she was dancing her ass of, she at least had an excuse, but now, all her so called "reasons" for singing playback arent valid anymore. I do like some of Britney's songs, but as a performer, she does absolutely nothing to me (and apparently a lot of other people).
I get Britney does it, so the jokes are bound to happen but the way he publicly did it was so tacky. Britney is quite sweet and stays in her lane as far as concerning other artists, so that shot was completely random and not even needed.
