Well, I'm looking at your list of favorite artists, and I think I can recommend a few:
Koda Kumi - she's the embodiment of Nicki Minaj in style. She has a pop style but is really prominent in the urban style. (Album recommendations: TRICK & JAPONESQUE / Song recommendations: "IS THIS TRAP?", "V.I.P.", "TABOO" & "POP DIVA")
MiChi - her style is different. It's rock, it's electro, it's pop, it's everything. She isn't defined by one genre and can cross many planes like Taylor Swift & Madonna. (Album recommendation: UP TO YOU / Song recommendations: "Why oh Why", "LOVE is.", "Surrender" & "ChaNge the WoRLd")
Rie fu - I'm only recommending her because one of her album was UK-style pop out of the wazoo and she's very amazing. So, if you really do like One Direction, you might like her Urban Romantic album. But I also recommend listening to her first self-titled album as well.
