I have been a fan of country since birth and have been following many country artists since before Taylor.
I'm not one of these Filipino swifties that didn't know who Tim McGraw was until Tim McGraw so don't speak to me in that way. I am a fan of Kaceys music but please, with all of the promo, critical acclaim, and label money that has been injected into her she should be doing much better.
Tornado is a more consistent album and has aged better than STDP and it's like 6 months older. No, Blowin Smoke won't be going gold but FYA might but it will be in a year or two. Taylor was the one making progressive country, you just seem Ill-informed and only remember country in her wake. There weren't songs like the singles on Taylor Swift around prior to her. She BECAME the standard and injected life into the genre.
Season 1 is only 10 episodes so it wouldn't be a big time investment if you happen to not like it (but you will hihi)
