She can teach me how to be much artist and I will teach ha F.U.N. I'll collab with her only if she releases Sexxx Dreams tho.

I don't think the label wanted anything experimental, which is why the dual disc idea was probably shot down. With Gaga's monsters wanting fun bops too, Gaga went along with it. She really believes in this album so I don't think she was forced or is as much as a victim as she says, but I do think ARTPOP is the child of Gaga trying to please too many people - which is why it is an incoherent album as relevant to ARTPOP as talent is to...never mind

She needs to stop trying to please anybody and just make music she believes in. That's what made The Fame and The Fame Monster so good - she wasn't trying to please anyone or top herself or make a successful album. She had a concept and just did it.

Anyhow, to keep it positive, woohoo G.U.Y.'s video was better than Applause!

Yes like why Gaga If TEOG and DWUW were handled better our fave might be looking at 5 #1s by now...
And G.U.Y is going Top 40, it just can't not even Crazy Kids scraped it

Are you kidding me? If it were up to Gaga, Aura would have been the lead single followed by Venus as the second and Applause, one of the few listenable tracks on the album, wouldn't have even made the cut. She is not this uber-talented woman you think she is nor does she have an ear for good music. The more freedom she has gotten, the worse she has become.
Expect the worst for the next album.

Well something fishy definitely happened because she told us back in like 2012 she is finished with the album and showing it to her label. I really can't imagine what they told her.

BYE. If she had only planned on releasing 3 singles, that means only one would be released after the album drop. And y'all would've dragged her for FILTH b/c of waiting nearly 3 years for three singles.
Granted, that basically what's happened now, but this wasn't the plan originally. I'm sure they plan(ned) on releasing waaaay more than 3 singles in the beginning

Instead she went to bed and cried for a month straight. I mean, she has no one to blame but herself

Exactly idk why anyone would feel bad for

Now I try not judge songs based off their titles, but Onion Girl
Fernando is also really overrated, but he has his moments of greatness! I wouldn't mind him making a few songs on her next album. I'd like to hear Darkchild again too. There are so many people she could work with

At the end of the day, I'm just glad Fernando Garibay didn't make the album. Legit, I haven't loved any of his songs. Ever. So, in that aspect, I'm thankful for Paul, Hugo, and Anton.

Tbh, more than half of the album is perfect for the "futuristic and revolutionary" theme Gaga seemed she wanted to do. It's just that a few of the songs, along with the visuals and imagery really make it seem super messy.
1. Aura
2. Venus
3. G.U.Y.
4. Sexxx Dreams
5. Do What U Want
6. ARTPOP
7. Fashion!
8. Mary Jane Holland
9. Dope
10. Gypsy
11. Applause
Not including some unreleased songs there (which I think would've made it better), I'm sure the album with that tracklisting would've gotten a 67-73 score on Metacritic. If it had the clean imagery of the Inez & Vinoodh photoshoot along with the original promo photo as the album cover, it probably would've sold more too.

I see I'm spilling too much tea again so let me just leave this thread since some of y'all are disloyal backstabbers who don't like hearing the truth (kinda like Gaga who has fired and gotten rid of every talented person around her and replaced them with their assistants).

Who cares if they would have flopped

She needs all new producers. Ones that aren't that well known. That way, she can experiment around and create fantastic music. She'll get the critical acclaim even if she doesn't get the sales.

It's kinda frustrating when you think about it. If the current Billboard rules had been around in 2009, Gaga would have at least 6 #1s by now. All three TFM singles would've likely spent at least 1 week at the top. But, ya know, let's not focus on the past.
