Anyway, I want Rih to bring rhythmic back. I'm talking Nelly/Gwen teas... Say It Right, Promiscuous, Cool, etc. Right now, all we seem to be getting is straight-up urban or slow ballads. Music that falls in the "rhythmic" category can appeal to a wide variety of people, portray a wide variety of themes/emotions, and stand the test of time. Melodies and drums > EDM

Pop is already out of that place, although EDM is bigger than ever, it's for a group that doesn't really listen or is involved with pop music, therefore we see a shift into a more funk/disco style and as of late urban.
